Liveing in The Age of AI. Are we ready?

Growing up and thinking about the future, most people probably envisioned flying cars, robot aids, houses in space, and cure all medicines that could cure any disease from the common cold all the way to things like cancer. Or at least that what I thought of whenever the idea of the future came into question. However, in our current times the idea or artificial aids is not as far away as we once though it to be. However back then this idea was looked at through the innocent eyes of a child. Someone that couldn’t possibly understand the pros and cons of such a development. However now we can face a situation where not even a child’s innocence and Naivety could hide them from the possible threats that could come in the near future.                  The idea of AI has always been up for debate. Whether you are a believer of a future where people depend on the use of these AI, or someone that takes the wa...

Diffusion Theroy

The diffusion theory is a theory made in an attempt to explain the rise and spread of new Inventions and ideas. From how the product was looked at on its debut all the way to current day looking at if it’s become a normal staple of life, something that isn’t uncommon to see from time to time, or if it just flat out was rejected.                This idea was first looked into in the 19 th century by multiple respected people such as the French sociologist Gabriel Tarde, Then a Frederick Ratzel a German Anthropologist, and finally by Leo Frobenius a Austrian Geographer. After much more investigations like thi...

EOTO #1 my technology

For my portion of my group’s presentation, I talked about drones.        Drones fall under the category of UAV's also known as UN-Manned Ariel Vehicles. And on record the first thing to set this category was the hot air balloon. While this is probably the very last thing you would think of when you think of this category it actually is considered the very first in the category. A hot air balloon operates by using the air currents to drift through the air. So, because it doesn’t have any solid controls it falls under the category.     Drones as we know them now were utilized by the army first. In 1973 it was recorded s the first time of the use of a drone with a camera being used in combat. It was used by Israel to scout out the geography of the battlefield and to locate the enemies. This was a huge leap in warfare. To be able to scout out the battlefield and gain information on the enemy’...
